Jess is from Ontario, Canada with a degree in history from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo. She has spent the last 20 years teaching in some way, shape or form, from kindergarten up to adults. Seeing the students grow has been one of the greatest parts of teaching, as well as getting to share her experience and expertise with the students and fellow teachers alike. She has taught in Mexico and South Korea. She has a love of travelling and likes to experience the history and culture of the places she visits. She also loves to try new foods on her travels. Her favourite sports are ice hockey and baseball and played softball for 6 years as a kid. She is looking forward to this new chapter and excited to be in the classroom.
